My Photos & Music – October edition

Since I haven’t taken a lot of photos this month (I spent most of September and October at home working on my thesis), and I wanted to share what I’ve been listening this fall, I decided to put together photos and music in one post. Years ago I used to use 8tracks, but now I can’t find any song I search, so I created the playlist on Spotify. The photos are not good and a little bit boring this month, so sorry for that. If you want to see more of my photos click –> here.
Let me know in the comments what you’ve been listening lately! :)

This Town Is Colder Now, I Think It’s Sick of Us

I was discussing with MyLovingWife  about moving out in the comments of my last post, and what she said reminded me a lot of this song. It’s from 2009 (that’s 6 years ago, damn), but it constantly reappears on the surface of my mind.

Time to make one last appeal, for the life I lead

This is how the story starts.

I Made It to the City Lights Before They Took Over My Life

I was browsing The Daily Post’s writing prompts’ page because I wanted to post something, and I stumbled upon the prompt “Opening Lines”What’s the first line of the last song you listened to (on the radio, on your music player, or anywhere else)? Use it as the first sentence of your post.

The last song I listened to is ‘When You Know’ by Puggy and I listened to it for a very specific reason:

Putting My Music Player on Shuffle a.k.a. “I Listen to Everything”

I have been neglecting the 30 Days Writing Challenge (and I’m sorry) but today I’m back with another post: Put your music player on shuffle and write the first ten songs that play.
I did it with my personal Spotify account, with the “Starred” playlist (the songs I’ve liked with the “+” button during these years). Here is what came out:

The Neighbourhood

The Neighbourhood is one of my favourite groups. They love to experiment, and they just released a mixtape with a lot of r&b and rap influences.

You can download it legally and for free  here –> #000000 & #ffffff.
